SWOD

Deadlift 5,5,5 80% of 1 rep max

 

WOD

5 minute AMRAP:

9 Deadlifts 135#/80#

6 Hang Power Cleans 135#/80#

3 Push Press 135#/80#

 

Rest 2 minutes, then 7 minute AMRAP of the following.

6 Push-ups (games style)

9 Box Jumps 20"/16"

12 Walking Lunges

Man it was freaking HOT outside today!!!

SWOD - 355# (estimated 445#)
"NOT SO FAST"
WOD 1 - 5 rounds +7 deadlifts (working on grip strength, no hook grip)
WOD 2 - 9 rounds +1 box jump

Let me just say that games style push ups suck...but doing them in direct sunlight on the concrete during another 100 degree day makes for a very nice "pink belly"!!!

Overall I really liked this one. Just as I was beginning to gas on WOD 1 it was over. WOD 2 was a total gasser but pushing through it was somewhat tolerable.

This one looks really good to me. But then again I really like deadlifts anyway.
