U.S. Army Sergeant Anibal Santiago, 37, of Belvidere, Illinois, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia, died on July, 18, 2010, in Bagram, Afghanistan. He is survived by his wife, Mandy, sons Hannibal, Desmond, and Darian, and parents Anibal and Maria.

5K Run - 25:16
WOD - 36:14

Well this is week two of the Soulcon challenge so I ran my 5k at 4pm before the workout. Felt pretty good and like I could shave some time next week. However going pretty much straight into the workout afterwards was not so good. After 3 rounds my hands began to shake pretty bad and I started getting a little dizzy. Started taking lots of water breaks and just breaks....long story short I know I can do better and will next time.

Wod: 48:10 rx (5 Rds) ripped my hand.
Super excited and proud of this! Started with ab mat for hspu’s. Knowing good and well that I was going to grab a 15 lb plate once I got tired. Hspu’s felt great. So I moved the ab mat and went straight from the ground... hell yes!!!! Hspu’s finally clicked!!!!
